Administration > Users > Groups

The groups tab enables you to view/edit/delete or create groups. An existing group may be selected using the 'Find' utility. The only entry provide while creating a group is the Group Name. Groups exist for the entire installation of TinyERP and we cannot have two groups with the same name.

The security and access controls are set (as fas as I can understand) using groups. So you may want to think about the different types of functions that you may have in your company and create the groups accordingly. For example your groups could be Accounts, Store, Sales etc.

To provide a user with access across multiple groups, he/she may be added to all the required groups.
